sites in Southern California. This project involved FTTC (Fiber to the Cell); OSP

design & engineering; Fiber preps (including fuse panels, fiber patch panels, T-1

Mux’s, DC power, single/multi-mode jumpers).

LTE & AWS technology sites involved upgrading of existing antennas &

coaxial/hybrid cables, PPC connectors, RRU’s, Raycaps, PIM testing.

E Node B site preps involved site preparation for Ericsson equipment cabinets &

radio racks. Additional projects include; COW/COLT deployments, site

modifications & relo’s, drop & swaps, site audits, generator adds. Other

responsibilities include; supervising 30 General Contractors & A&E firms, QA

audits & fiber/power coordination with LEC’s. Generated QA inspection forms for

Project manager for 60 (IDEN/CDMA) sites per BTA annually. Responsibilities

include management of engineering, architectural, environmental, land use

planning, contractor disciplines, and site development. Additional duties include

filing of land use and building permits, coordination of utilities, bid walks, contractor

SOW/SOV, issuance of PO’s/Change orders, ancillary/BTS/tower ordering,

Program Manager- State of Florida Omnilink System Conversion

Responsible for program planning, scheduling, and managing various contractors

during the initial programming phase prior to system conversion. The project

consists of upgrading the existing state government 800 trunked radio systems to

omnilink, which involves the conversion of 8000 mobile & portable radios. Ensuring

client and customer relations proved to be the vital key in the overall projects

success.

Alltel PCS-AL, Powertel PCS-KY, Triton PCS- VA

Construction manager for approximately 150 PCS sites per BTA. Managed

numerous general contractors from initial site development to system optimization.

Duties included contractor’s administration, pre-qualification of contractors,

coordinating the engineering and architectural disciplines, coordinating power and

T-1 service to the site, zoning and building permits, and land disturbance and

environmental issues. Site builds include- Rawland, Tenant Improvements, Rooftop,

and collocations. Coordinated with the owners of existing towers to ensure that

work was done in accordance with existing specifications. The project also involved

supplying UPS systems W/generator backup for these specific sites.

Quality Assurance Manager

Quality assurance manager for the Nortel-Sprint Miami, MTA project.

Responsibilities included the establishment and preparation of the workmanship

standards and acceptance criteria per client specifications. Ensured the training and

oversight of thirty individual technicians performing various integration tasks were

achieved.

Overall field operations manager in support of Motorola’s system integration, which

ranged extensively throughout various projects. Working closely with Motorola’s

project management team, ensured the timeliness and quality of the finished

product. Motorola projects overseen include: FNE installation for the ChicagoDetroit

Nextel project, Mobile radio & antenna/ transmission installation for Southern

California Edison, Anaheim 911 radio dispatch center, Los Angeles International

Airport radio upgrade project (DAS), Santa Ana police dispatch.

Responsible for management and inspection, document and repair (where

required) PCS cell sites for Nortel in six major markets for multiple PCS licensees.

The sites included rooftops, guyed towers, self- support towers, and monopoles

ranging in height from 50 feet to 425 feet. Inspection of antennas, transmission

lines, grounding and surge arrestor installations was performed. Repair service

included the replacement of antennas, transmission lines, heliax connectors,

grounding kits, jumpers, and cadwelds.

Cable/Antenna United States Air Force (Top Secret Security

Clearance) Wiesbaden Germany

As a member of the 1836 Engineering Installation Group; was responsible for the

construction/installation/testing of five hundred communications facilities throughout

Western Europe. Most sites involved the installation/testing of new antenna

systems and microwave dish/waveguide installations/tenant improvement builds.

Outside plant involved installation, splicing, testing of telephone cable ranging from

25-2200 pair, fiber optic cable installation splicing (manual/fusion) and testingunderground/aerial.
